Question about which tools to use, bugs, the best way to implement a function, etc should go here. Don't forget to see if your question is answered in the wiki first! When in doubt post here.
I think WakkaWiki allows you to post comments on each page (http://www.wakkawiki.com). It's a great idea, provided people use the comments for what they are intended: further and improve the contents of the page rather than ask questions.
PhpWiki got subpages and "blogs" allowing comments to be posted. Take a look at the docs, Solar can tell you more about it as he has got it up and running on our site.
to the end of the page. Such comments will be locked so that only an admin can edit them; this can be fixed with a two-line patch to lib/plugin/WikiBlog.php.
Again, if you need help with or have questions about PhpWiki, just drop me a mail.
Every good solution is obvious once you've found it.

i'm only on phpwiki 1.2.. didnt know it supported plugins or anything like that.
Don't know either, I started right away with 1.3.3. Don't fear the "experimental" label on the 1.3 branch; I am now running a version pulled right out of their CVS, and stability isn't an issue.

and i grabbed the latest cvs the other night. sigh. hopefully i'll upgrade on the weekend if it likes my ancient php (damn i really need to upgrade server hosts), and add that comment part in......
