Here's just a quick piece of trivia:
There are 244 pages linked to OSDEV.org according to Altavista.
The site in second place only has 39 pages linked to it.

Oops, the site in second place is also and OSDEV site...I forgot to mention that. I only checked the # of links to OSDEV sites.

it says by the number it found. Like
www.osdever.net is only linked to 39 times. do this in google:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=& ... sdever.net
it finds 84, more than alta vista. It is in the "### links found"
also, you have to consider that osdever.net and osdev.neopages.net are the same site.
It seems osdev.org has a lot of links to it, but have you ever thought of the fact that there is a osdev ring that points here? That is the explanation.
