Like many (if not everyone) knows, OSes cannot be programmed by just one programmer. This would take years, if not longer. I'm planning on programming my own OS. Any1 wants to help? It's just for people who do this for a hobby (just like myself) coz I can't pay you guys. The more knowledge of assembler the better. I will be project leader, but you guys may say what u would like to program yourself. I'll help programming, 2...
Of course, when it's done, the ones who helped will get payed if we sell the product (50-50, except for those who just sat on their lasy @$$ and didn't do a thing)
The days/ours a week will be up to you: The more hours, the more you get payed if we sell it. And I will register a IRC chatbox, set a password on it, and the programmers may enter. I will keep what still has to be programmed, and you may pick anything from that list. That will be removed from the list, and when ur done, you can start with the next part. I'll keep up the connections and I will program some things.
At the end, all parts will be taken together. Then we all will be beta testers (well, those who want to), and the last bugs will be removed...
So, anyone wants to help?
Who wants to join me programming an OS?

lol. It was optimising that I smelt
H@cker, I wouldn't advise your approach of 'work for free' '50-50 if we sell' strategy. This isn't going to work. Perhaps you should consider the open source route? There are many different licences which you could use. If you are seriously considering a project which you would sell, you should draft up some legal contracts which agree the way profit will be divided, and make anyone who joins the project to print it out, sign it, and post it to you.
Good luck
