Fail to boot with freshly cloned meaty skeleton

Post by R1shy »

Hello, I have just started OSDev and after finishing bare bones (and having it work) I decided to move on to using meaty skeleton as a base to explore, so I cloned it from https://github.com/hemstreet/MeatySkeleton.

I then discovered when I ran tools/qemu.sh it boots to grub and allows me to pick the myos option but then fails to run kernel main, it gives the error: can not read from hard disk and then sends me back to the grub selection screen.

I have made a few changes to the template (mostly naming) which can be seen at: https://github.com/R1shy/Buffalo

I am very new to OSDev so any help/tips is/are appreciated

Thanks,
R1shy
