Hardware interrupts not working (only software) ???

Hi,

Ive been working on adding interrupt support to an OS, and have been able to succesfully receive software interrupts (asm("int x")) but when I generate hardware interrupts (by sending a byte to a PCI network card that should generate a hardware interrupt) that handler does not get called.  

Is there anything obvious i might be missing (needed for hardware interrupts)?

Have u set the IF flag in EFLAGS. U could do this by using STI.
