now my kernel has a small memory management, but only support a kernel maping ( until now there is so applications ;D).

now I would like to write a floppy driver, so that i can read applications images.
I have tried to read the version of the controller then i receive as result 0x80, what does that mean?

did you know some examples about writing floppy driver?

A good example is Fabien Numez's Driver. It needs only minor adjustments to get it to work in an OS and if you have your own driver you can use it as a method of trouble shooting (switching around functions etc.) If you want a shortish datasheet then Debbie Wiles has made a good tutorial/datasheet. You can find both of these on my website xinit.port5.com
