Flushing TLB

Is it problematic to flush the TLB (to invoke some invlpg calls) *before* having enabled paging?
no, i don't think this should cause problems (though i never tried it ) I went through Intel docs almost exhaustively and i can't remember of any warning of that kind ...
it's just useless
