Hi everybody!

I'm currently *thinking* to get rid of Windows and install Linux on my computer to develop my OS.

So I'd like to know: what OS do you use and could you give some more information? (like: Win XP, 98, ... or for linux: RH8 with KDE, ...)

I use Mandrake Linux 8.1 for developing my OS. But I also keep windows installed too.

Mandrake 8.1 is outdated... Get Mandrake 9 or the newest Gentoo.

I got 9! But it won't install correctly...i'm trying to get it install. My partition is too big I think.

I'm using Debian Woody, Kernel version 2.4.18 (I know there's 2.4.20, thanks)...
I've kept Windows installed for my sister

I use Windows 98 and Windows XP to dev on... though I have done a small amount on my FreeBSD box.
