Help with GDT in bootloader

Hi, I'm developing a bootloader for the i386 architecture from scratch and need some help with the transition from real mode (16-bit) to protected mode (32-bit)—specifically regarding the GDT, as I haven't been able to find resources explaining how to set it up. Could someone help me with a tutorial or teach me how to do it?
