Hello OSDev community,

I'm 11 years old and I've been working on a 16-bit hobby operating system called NovaOS for several months. :D  It's inspired by MikeOS and currently includes:

- Command-Line Interface (CLI) with commands like DIR, CAT, COPY, DEL, HELP, and SYSINFO
- BASIC interpreter
- Simple text editor (NovaPad)
- FAT12 filesystem support
- Basic graphical launcher (still in development)

I'm currently facing challenges with:
1. Transitioning from 16-bit Real Mode to 32-bit Protected Mode
2. Improving the graphical interface (GUI)
3. Debugging memory management issues

If anyone has experience with these topics, I'd really appreciate your advice!

Source code & ISO: https://github.com/danieldevir/NovaOS

I've also reported a few bugs to Google (Android VRP), Qualcomm, and the Linux kernel (Bugzilla #221773 and #221775).

Thank you for your time! Feedback and suggestions are very welcome. :D

Damn, if this was written by an 11-year-old, that's insanely impressive. But architectural-wise, a bootloader should just do its core job - load the code and hand over control to the kernel, period. :D
