So I've tried to implement FAT16 support for the OS, and it can read and write to files without crashing.


I hope this has some type of correlation like my previous question did.

How do I get rid of the black line in the background? Dragging windows over the line cover it. Removing the background gets rid of the line.

Below is an example of the issue:

The black line seems to be 512 pixels long. One sector is 512 bytes. Perhaps your FAT16 driver is reading the wrong sector for that part of your background image.
