Why I'm building an OS at 11 (and why you should too)

I've always been fascinated by how computers work. When I discovered MikeOS, I thought: "Why not build my own?" So I started learning Assembly and C, and after several months, I had NovaOS.

It's been a challenging journey, but I've learned so much about CPU architecture, memory management, and system calls. If you're thinking about building your own OS, my advice is: just start. You'll learn more than you can imagine.

Thanks for your reply – it really made my day! It’s awesome to know that you also took inspiration from MikeOS. Seems like we’re both on a similar path.

I checked out your DoomOS repo and it looks really cool! I'm still learning Assembly more deeply myself, and right now I'm getting into memory management and interrupts. If you have any tips or resources that helped you along the way, I’d love to hear them.

Good luck with your project – I hope both of us can take our OSes to the next level!
