Sup. The 802.11 page needs updating. 802.11n is not the latest. I think we should include an 802.11ac section. We need to add more to it. I have added the 802.11ac section but it may require some editing. |

The value of this page is strongly questionable. It should at least give an overview of the 802.11 stack and on what a driver for a wireless network adapter conceptually needs to do. In its current state, the page does not improve over wikipedia if you want to drive a wireless stack. Compare that to the much better USB page that actually gives a good overview over a topic with similar complexity (?). It doesn't need to be as detailed as the USB page but there should be something. |
