How do I get my account to work?

I just registered an account on forum.osdev.org. The wiki told me I had to, to be able to edit. But when I try to log in, I get the message "Login error: You are not a member of the required phpBB group.". I haven't gotten any confirmation emails. Was I supposed to? If not, how do I get the account working?

Join the "wiki" group on the "User Control Panel".

This doesn't always work. I tried joining and now my membership has been pending for about a week or so. When I click the select butten and try to join selected the following message appears:

You already requested joining the selected group.

It takes some time before you "actually" become a member of the group.

But i think you have wiki rights even if it's "pending". I know for me was so...

I definitely have no wiki rights as I can not log in
