Dude, give the poor guy time to wake up. My guess is most mods are in America, and are active after work, so this stuff will be dealt with by the time it is afternoon in America, and right now it's just noon.

Interesting to note that the spam accounts registered around the time of the inception of this thread and remained silent until now. Might that be a criterion for mass deletion?

There are some actual users who registered around that time too, but it would help locate the bulk of them.

After that, just look for users with obvious spam URLs in their profile.

I'm in Japan, so it was around 1:30am for me.

Looks like a wave of sleeper accounts that avoided the moderation requirement because it only affects accounts created after that was set up. Octocontrabass cleaned up the threads and I've dealt with the accounts.
