I don't use the mark as read option :D however I'd use a "mark this thread as unread" feature. Right now I do not dwelve into a thread if I can't read it whole at once, because if I read only a part, the next time I visit the forums I see it marked as read and don't know there's more I might look at.

Well, actually it isn't that much of a need because I am just fine with bookmarking threads I'd like to read more :D

Why not just mark the first post in the thread as unread?

Yea that'd be just grant I think there's no such feature at the moment. I abide pretty well with the usage of bookmarks, the only feature that'd be a better solution would be to put marks on single posts within a thread (because marking the whole thread as unread is not very useful when a lot of pages of discussion arose; bookmarks're better, then).

omg there is a "bookmark thread" link at the bottom after all ! and also in the header of each post, to the left from the nick there is a link to that post itself I may bookmark in firefox, so problem solved :D
