Hi! I'm new here my name is Josh and I'm the developer of an operating system called ytterOS. Currently this is what is working in the system: FAT12 filesystem / FAT12 booting keyboard input and debug console newline function for keyboard input screen formatting with color and cursor movement routines low memory detection serial in and out PC shutdown routine Basic error handling It's not a UNIX-like, and it's not DOS-like either, it's unique unto itself. Though many future commands in the debug console will be UNIX-like, since I've been using GNU/Linux for 21 years. Here is a screenshot after boot-up. If this image fails to show, let me know. Hi all! You could use BMFS and have a more functional file system. Fat12 is limited in size and file name size. |
