The name is "SOLAR" OS not "Solaris" ;)

I name it after the central star of our system and besides my company is named like that. I had a few company's and many of them have a name based on "SOLAR" plus something... I guess that it is just one way of saying "Thank you" to our beloved central SUN.

And yes IF you show some skills have a functional project and behave decently THEN this place/forum is much better for hobby OS developers than "other" places. At least you can learn about all other projects that are going on.

I'll go write some hymns and hang-out with God. I got angel bootleg songs if you want some. There's some on the CD. I'm kinda burned-out even doing that, though.

I don't recall me saying LoseThos was a hobby. Why would you say that? Full time for a degreed professional is full-time, no?

Last time I checked, this was an operating system developers forum... not church.
I'm actually somewhat lost as to how you figured that online singing of hymns was fitting for the discussion.

Someone saw God mentioned on my site and brought it up.

Smoking a bit too much weed this morning?

In other news, your OS looks nice. I barely follow the English structure on your main page, but the OS still looks nice xD

Dude! You think God approves that? Don't eat meat, don't go near anything porn, don't pirate. It's different when God talks to you. Bet you'd radically alter your lifestyle. It was a rude wake-up call when I had been an atheist! He probably doesn't care about you. Doesn't give a **** if most people believe in Him or not, obviously.

I don't know how you could possibly "hear God" through your ego.

That said, this website is about operating system development and I'm almost positive that most of the people here would prefer to keep it that way.

People like you are exactly why I'm an atheist.

...isn't the whole god (yes, lowercase) deal that he loves everyone? So from your statement, you either don't really believe in him (yes, again, lowercase) or you have no idea what you are talking about. And unfortunately I know this because I go to a catholic school (sigh, it's where things went wrong).
Anyway, please don't post that bible junk on here.

When I start hearing gods voice, I will check myself into a mental hospital and get myself checked for schizo. Then maybe I'll start smoking pot (it helps, it helps).

I think it's about time for this thread to be locked. This is grossly off topic and is not even relative to OS development in general.

Mental hospitals suck but disability checks are cool. Guys from Metallica seem to know about mental health.

Hi,

If I could be bothered I'd spend some time ripping your arguments into agonising shreds, but fortunately for you I lack such time and will only leave you with a few words of wisdom:

  • Get over yourself.
  • Noone who actually has a relationship with Jesus could possibly be so self-indulgent, arrogant and misguided as yourself. As a fellow Christian I am disgusted by the unneeded preaching and assumed divinity of your personal operating system. When God does talk to people, he most certainly doesn't tell them to only operate in 640x480x4 mode.

Cheers,

James
