Here's the agi chat:
http://www.agigames.com/chat/

I visited the agi chat but I saw no one to talk. I guess
no one is interesting to speak about agi things.

To Chris Cromer: I hope I'm not hurt your feelings because you are the author of the chat room but I just
wondering if some one is still using the chat room.

Well I havn't had time to visit it lately, I have been to busy with php scripts.

It seemed to have died when I started visiting it less.

We can pull it back together if we get some kind of standard meeting time so that we know when to be on to meet eachother and talk.

And don't worry it doesn't hurt my feelings, I already was wondering why the chat wasn't fairing so well, I will leave it open for ceratain reasons:

1.) Some times people might need to chat live outside of the board and they can do it there.

2.) That chat isn't just AGI and SCI people can start their own rooms to discuss other things.

3.) It is one of the few chat clients that the AGI/SCI community has.

4.) If more people would visit it, it would attract more and more people.

Also, I will do my best to try to be in there, more. Hopefully my being there will help bring people back.

I visit the chat room periodically, but no one is on. This isn't surprising, since I'm in CST, and everyone else is everywhere else. However, lately it's been dog slow to load, even though I'm currently using a DSL line. Any suggestions?

Hey i think that there should be set times such as:

GMT London, Greenwich, Dublin - 8:00pm
Central Time USA - 6:00 pm
Eastern Time "" - 7:00
Western time "" - 5:00

etc
It's not a very good impression, but you get the idea.

Wait a minute.

The chat uses its own time. If you know when you go to the chat, let us to know.

I could chat at 5:00 pm chat's time (except sundays).

Actually it is set to the time it is where I live. I set it that way.

in my opinion, web based chat is a bad idea. I often visit #agi and #sci on Dalnet, and it is always empty. I remember the times when it had up to 10 people in it at one time, and it worked really well.

Yep, I think mIRC's better than Web chats too. It doesn't use that much CPU, which is handy on Prosp?re (this computer ;)) Even MSN is slow here from the moment that there are 3 people in the same box, let alone a web chat.

Its really a pity that people dont use that. I am in right now and I will stay in for a while. I think everytime i go online i will go in there. Chris you put your time into it and now it just sits there. I will use it to show you how great a job you did. And if no one comes in, i will talk to myself. ;D

I'm in too. That blasted refresh is a pain in the @$$ >:(. It sometimes even switches the window I'm using, thus mixing up the things I say. It seems to be a shame that there's almost nobody on, though.
