Hi Jordan_C

I made over 30 games using basica (gwbasic for IBM compatible).

Sorry Jordan_C.. All my games are french.

If you visit my site carfully, you may find some basic aventure games and compiled with Quick Basic.

"Missions Spatiaux", "Missions Spatiaux II" and "Le naufrage".

O i know, it's just that I forgot to add it in my first post.

Too bad about those french games, tho. I actually find that most of them, when I eventually download them, are german.

Ah the good ol days of basic I remember them well. I only made one game in basic the rest of my stuff was usefull things like password systems, calendars, calculator. Every now and then I play around a little with it like updating my password system and adding new features, changing and adding better encryption.

I only have a few of my programs left seeing as I have deleted most of them. I still have a few lying around in a folder.

I too prefer apps with basic. Basic is not really a good language to write good looking and good game play with.

I now really hate basic (having learned real programming languages.)

Many years ago I wrote a copy of the Ms. Astro Chicken in QBasic.  It doesn't really live up to the original, but it's quite cool for a crappy basic program.

If I can find the disk, and a 360k floppy drive, I'll upload it to my website.

Yes, once you learn a real language, basic can seem like it sucks. But it's good for beginners and good for getting yur feet wet in programming. I quite like it, altho there are a lot of limitations [graphics.......] ;D

Gwbasic is not suck for me. I made some action games with basic, little adventure games. I made 20 games with basic.

Qbasic is more powerfull than basic but does not support pcjr's graphics.

::)Personally, "GWBASIC not suck for me", either, but the GFX are a pain. Do you have any of your games on a [web]server?
