It is written in book "The C Programming Language ANSI C of Brian W. Kernighan and Dennis M. Ritchie, Second Edition, Introduction: "For most programmers, the most important change is a new syntax for declaring and defining functions. A function declaration can now include a description of the arguments of the function; the definition syntax changes to match. This extra information makes it much easier for compilers to detect errors caused by mismatched arguments; in our experience, it is a very useful addition to the language". For most programmers, when will the development of the AGI system likely end? For most programmers, when the AGI system likely will be released? |

There are multiple projects which have the acronym AGI, what specifically are you referring to? Are they referring to the warning generated by the compiler when a function call implicitly casts a variable? The book you refer to is 30 years old, so it is unlikely that anything described in it as a work in progress is still under development. |

Sorry, I understand now. I thought you were referring to something from the book you mention. I think only DavidCooper himself will be able to answer. |

Why not send David a PM and ask him? |
