Recently I was using the debug tool on XP to look through a floppy disk and when I got to 9000:30e0h I found something quite interesting. Somebody's name was printed right at 9000:30e2h . The name read Andy Watson. I've been googling this person with no significant results. I know this is a random question, but it really puzzled me.
Does this block belong to some file? Or have there been files on the floppy that were deleted (i.e. removed from the FAT - their data may still be present)? If this is the case, the origin of that file could give you a hint. I think this is the most reasonable.
If this is not the case: How did you obtain the floppy? How was it formatted? Maybe the developer of some formatting tool put his name an an easter egg into some unused sector.
