I've 3 machines (possibly soon 4...enough parts to make 2 more :P)

My Primary Workstation:
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 1.8ghz (o'ced to 1.9ghz...can go up to 2.2 if you like ;D )
nVidia 6600PX 256MB PCI Express x16 video card (dual out, 1 VGA, 1 DVI)
256mb DDR 333mhz RAM (yuck!)
2 IDE 40GB hard drives (I use both, but one has 1 file on it only, I could wipe it if you'd like to test, but I'm going to disable the other one first!)
nForce4 chipset, Gigabit LAN, 6-Channel Sound (all speakers connected), Like 8 USB ports (like I'll ever use them all), USB printer (EG. no use to you), 1 COM port, 1 parallel port...I think that's it

Second, My classic:
486:
35mhz standard, 40mhz turbo
IDK how much RAM (only booted it once year ago :P)
42mb hard drive (No write allowed!) (It has Windows 3.1 installed :) )
AT keyboard (serial mouse only)
Not sure about anything else....

Third, my Uber Classic:
8088:
No math coprocessor
640K RAM
2 5 1/2" floppy drives
4.77mhz standard, 9.54 mhz turbo
AT Keyboard, no mouse
CGA and Mono video card only
(I really don't see a use for anyone to use this, but, whatever....)

I'm guessing my A64 would be the most appealing testbed, the 486 possibly...My gmail is listed if you'd like to email me a CD ISO (for my A64 only) or a floppy image (5 1/2" or 3 1/4" for both 486 and A64).

Do you happen to know the type of chip used for the GBIT lan? Is it a RTL8169?

It's built-in to the nForce4...Not sure of anything else :P

The Linux driver for the chipset is called something along the lines of "Reverse Engineered nForce Networking Controller" so I'd take a guess that it isn't RTL compatible :).

sinistar (custom built)
Pentium D 820 (2.8GHz, dual core, EMT64)
1GB DDR2 RAM
Intel D945PSN motherboard
ATI Radeon X600 Pro (PCI-Express)
Linksys WMP-11 802.11b
200GB SATA HDD
CDRW, floppy, LS-120
This one is available for some testing, although the hard disk is occupied by Ubuntu 5.10 and all of my GIMP work, etc. I'd be happy to test floppy-based and LiveCD-based OS's here, as long as I can unplug my hard disk before I boot them.

amidar (HP Vectra, unknown model #)
Intel Celeron 566MHz
256MB RAM
80GB Hard disk
CDROM, floppy
Intel 10/100 LAN
Intel 82815 graphics
This one is fair game. When I'm home from college I'll crack it open and see what's going on in terms of chipset, etc.

gravitar (HP Vectra XU 6/200)
Dual Pentium Pro 200MHz
128MB ECC PC100 SDRAM
4.3GB SCSI HD
Adaptec SCSI controller
3Com 905 Parallel Tasking NIC
(see HP site for full specs)

splinter (Toshiba Satellite 320CDS)
Penitum MMX 233MHz
20GB hard disk
32MB EDO RAM
C&T HiQTM graphics
CDROM, floppy

Also fair game:
Compaq Armada M700 (my main dev system, so nothing hard-disk based)
Toshiba Satellite Pro 430CDT
IBM Thinkpad 600
IBM PS/2 Model 55LS
IBM PS/2 Model 30 (8086)
Macintosh LC
Macintosh Performa 578
Macintosh Performa 637CD
Macintosh Classic II
Macintosh PowerBook 165c
Sun SPARCStation 5 (170MHz, 2x1GB SCSI HDD)

Trent (Desktop):
933MHz Intel Pentium III
MSI-6198 Motherboard
MSI Radeon 9200SE Gfx Card (128MB)
640MiB SD-RAM
40GB IDE Hard Disk
52x CD-RW Drive
3.5" Floppy Drive
3COM 10/100 Network Adapter
MS Windows XP

Jane (Laptop):
233MHz Intel Pentium w. MMX
64MiB SD-RAM
4GB IDE Hard Disk
3.5" Floppy Drive
3COM Etherlink III Network Adapter (via PCMCIA)
No Operating System

The hard drive in Trent will be taken out while testing, but you can write to the hard drive in Jane as much as you like. All operating systems will have to be on floppy disks.

And just in case you're wondering, the names come from MTV's cartoon series Daria.
