So, I'm rewriting my OS and this time starting on PowerPC to make sure everything will be written in a portable manner.
I'd like to get some real documentation for PowerPC and OpenFirmware up onto the wiki to help others, but I'm having
difficulties deciding what to put into the wiki. There's almost no OSDev documentation for PPC, and so I'm kind of
starting from scratch, finding everything from datasheets, old Apple articles, and some IBM AIX documentation,
and I really just don't know what I should leave to the manuals and what I should try and transcribe. Is there a
hard and fast rule for this kind of thing? If I get past that little difficulty, what kind of structure should I be building
so what's needed is easy to find? (i.e. Should calling conventions go into the CPU article, or have a separate page?)

Thanks in advance :)

As the guidelines for wikipedia would say: be bold.

Just drop in whatever you feel can help the rest of the community, and we'll do the same when we think it can be done better. In other words, just do what a wiki was made for
