 Post subject: Appearing online when I'm not

Location: Maadi, Cairo, Egypt
I dual boot Windows 8.1 and Ubuntu 15.04. I keep myself logged in to OSDev on Ubuntu; I sometimes log in on Windows. Before I log in, I sometimes see myself as being online when I'm not, like just a few minutes ago from now.
Why is this?

The resolution of the "users online" counter is five minutes.
