I was thinking that maybe we should have a separate forum subdivision for general programing announcements....
(This is probably stupid but hey...)

When the OS Theory subforum was introduced, there was already a huge number of theory topics happening in the development subforum.

This isn't the case with software other than operating systems. Is it really relevant anyway?
