Since PHPBB is such a popular forum software there are a lot of automated hacking attempts against any website running it. Once you get so far behind the most recent version you are going to get hacked.

Almost sounds like the smart thing to do would be to rewrite the site with customized (and therefore non-bot-hackable) software -- if we can manage to find some decent programmers around, somewhere ....

The other day I had trouble logging in after the remember me cookie expired. I ended up using Forgot Your Password because it wasn't taking my password. Of course I might just have been using the wrong one but I don't think so. Other than that I have had no problems with the site in a long time.

Exactly why the current forum has a require Javascript and cookie thing for registration that I wrote.

Have you ever looked at the phpbb code? All we need is a bunch of assembly language programmers working on it....
In a totally unrelated event I've invented a new programming term "the event horizon of obfuscation".

1) The forum RSS feed to work properly... choosable with forums, etc.

2) I want an option to download the entire knowledge of the top 10 posters into my head via RS232. :)

I agree...
I may not be in top ten, but it's close... #16 to be exact.
You do not, I repeat, you do not want to know my thoughts.

Woo # 22!

I like the site like it is, if we could keep the mtDark theme that would be awesome.
