What just happened to the site? Instead of the osdev logo I'm getting some porno picture. Was the site hacked or something?

I tested all the themes and cleared my browser cache a few times, but I'm not seeing this... :?

Are you using Wireless or something? perhaps someone is tampering with your connection?

I don't see it either.

Logo on the main page, the wiki or the forum page?

hmmm... the picture seem to disappear after I cleared my cache. I must have visited some page that confused firefox or something because firefox also seemed to be ignoring stylesheets. Pretty weird.

Anyway, thanks for your help.

Hi,

Don't know if it's related, but today my Firefox 2.0 popup blocker has become active when entering the forum list page...I'll keep monitoring it.

Cheers,
Adam

That tends to happen when you get a private message.. ;) I had to explicitly allow popups from OSDev to get around that.

I like to leave the popup blocker active - I prefer a big yellow bar that signifies I have a PM than a popup!

Nah, I just like to screw with people from time to time. Ya know, like in FightClub where they changed out the airplane safety instructions.

On the PM popup subject: If you look in your Profile there is a setting for "Pop up window on new Private Message".

Hey, I did that (it was pretty funny....) last Christmas!
EDIT: I mean, I wrote a funny script about them.

While we're on the subject, I'm getting intermittent phpBB critical errors: Unable to connect to database.

Is anyone else getting these?

Yes - I e-mailed Chase when I got one yesterday morning (I was also getting a 500 error on the wiki), but 10 mins later it was up again.

Cheers,
Adam

I got SQL connection errors from both phpBB and the wiki, the latter also giving the error message: "too many connections (localhost)"

I think maybe mysql just wanted a restart. I restarted both the db and apache last night. Any problems since then?
