I tried running it on qemu (version 2.8.50 on windows 10 64bit), but I couldn't move my mouse there. It just jumped to the left side of the screen and it was stuck there.
On VMWare Player 12.0 (on same computer), I couldn't move my mouse either.
On VirtualBox, it worked.
So it presents me with a screen where I need to put in my password, unfortunately, I was unable to type anything, so I just clicked the arrow icon.
Then I played around with some things that were on the desktop (or should I say home screen?). Sometimes my mouse cursor disappears and I have to restart the VM because it is unable to respond to anything after my cursor disappears.
Also sometimes, when I exit out an application I get a "guru meditation" in VirtualBox, looking in the VirtualBox log file, it shows some information about VGA before it reports the crash.
The user interface was really smooth to work with, so you did a nice job on that.
I tried out the drawing application, It works well.
The shell option in the tools menu did not seem to work, I suppose it has not been implemented yet.
Overall it felt a little bit buggy. But you have a good base to work on, so good luck with your OS
