Hi guys,

I was wondering if there was any Swiss operating system hobbyist around here ? If so, I would be cool to meet once around a beer or cafe to discuss all the crazy things were are doing ? Maybe in november/december (or earlier :P) ?

For the location, it'll depend on who's interested, we'll try to make something not too far from anyone. I'm working In Fribourg (I have access to classrooms if necessary).

Cheers!

All those mettings... Publicly telling other peoples address of your home (or anywhere else) where metting will be is very dangerous.
Some bad guy here could go to meeting with a knife and kill somebody.

Lukand, that is some grade-A 1990s paranoia.

I don't think the hobby OS dev and knife murderer communities really overlap. Well, except for a couple members here...

I'm not paranoiac with that... Moreover, if someone really wants to kill people with a knife, he just needs to enter the first restaurant on his way.

Anyway, does not seem to be too much interest for now. When we have some people, we'll see to do something. Just let me know.

(If anyone want to opt in without public knowledge, just send me a PM)

How many of these "meeting" threads have been posted, and how many of you have actually met?
I'm near Old Cairo, Egypt and probably the farthest places in the city are about 1 hour by public transportation; I just don't want to post a new thread about this because I don't think anyone would actually meet.

One thing is certain, nobody will ever meet if nobody ever tries.
