We are currently looking for people interested in helping us with development of the HelenOS operating system. The project page can be found here: http://www.helenos.eu

HelenOS has been developed for several years already, so its kernel uses some rather advanced techniques.

So far, we have a functional kernel and basic userspace layer (capable enough so that we can have some userspace device drivers, virtual console and the game of tetris), we support around 7 processor architectures (amd64, ia32, ia64, mips32, ppc32, sparc64 and xen32), some of them in SMP mode.
Since the fundamental bits are there, now we would like to focus on filesystem support and networking. We would also like to deepen support for current architectures and improve the system as a whole.
