Well in most cases when you get mysql installed the username is usually root, and there is no password. But... it might not be like that in SF, but I would recommend trying those.

I know it's pass and username.

Have you created the database for the application to connect to?

Yea...I just need to know where the mysql needs to connect to for the YaBBSE installer.

Ok got that...here is the command line to start mysql:

mysql -u fritzos --database=fritzos --host=mysql -p

Now, YaBBSE installer wants the mysql sock thing. SF doesn't have it. So, how can I get it to use mysql with that commandline?

Replace the word localhost with mysql, and put the database name as fritzos, then enter your username and password. The last input called the prefix can be anything you wish.
