Heyho,

the pages that were hosted on the BerliOS page, like the PIC page or the VM86 page are down.. :|
Does one of you maybe have a copy of them? Or do you think it would make sense to write these guys a mail and ask if they could have a look?
If the authors agree I'd even mirror the pages on my server if someone has a copy, because I found them very helpful and informative...

Peace

I don't know the answer to that, or why the pages have been removed, but I can think of an easy way to find out. ;)

When the entire BerliOS went down (because many of the project pages I used to visit have shifted or are just gone)...... (you know what I mean). Anyways try using "archive.org" to access the archived copies of those pages. If you're fortunate enough :) you'll get at least one copy of those webpages.

I normally use the Wayback Machine to find old pages (just search "Wayback" on Google - it's the first link). Obviously that's not an ideal solution (in particular, the links on many pages don't work, and anything which requires logging in is completely unuseable), but it works.

I'm just waiting for the day that goes down too...
