If you want, you can follow the link in my signature below, and download a CD image of my OS.

Burn that to a CD and boot it up. It should boot just fine without an ACPI table. If you get a prompt, you can hit TAB to see all of the static classes you can use.

For example, you can type "ACPI.IsInstalled" and hit enter.

If it returns True, your APCI table is fine. You can also get the address of any of the ACPI tables.
