Hello everyone,

I recently got a new HP laptop with Win**** XP pre-installed :(.  My floppy drive is still in the mail on it's way to my house.  I downloaded Bochs thinking that I could run COM files of my kernel but I couldn't find anywhere that says how.  Is it even possible to run a COM file with Bochs?  If so, how?
Thank you in advance for your help.

I did it this way:

1) get an image of a windows startup floppy (make the floppy and PARTCOPY it or download)
2) make bochs boot on that image
3) get winimage
4) use winimage to create an image with your file,
so after booting bochs you can 5) execute the com file.

Cheers,
Adrian. Hope it helps
