Cloudflare challenge issues

Post by thewrongchristian »

For some time now, one particular Firefox installation has had problems completing the Cloudflare challenge system.

The diagnostics page at:

https://debug.challenges.cloudflare.com/

Finds no problems, but fails anyway with an unknown error. Ironically, accessing with Chromium allows me through (I'm using Chromium now) but flags issues!

I've been through the diagnostics, it says to copy the details and submit to Cloudflare support, but gives no indication where that support is! No support link, no email address, nothing. Lots of links to developer account pages.

I've even tried creating a developer account at dash.cloudflare.com, and tried interacting with their AI bot (ironic!) but have no clue how to submit anything to the box.

I've cleared cookies, browser data, tried unblocking script execution, all to no avail.

It is a mess, and Cloudflare are about done with me.

Anyone else struggling with Cloudflare?

Nope. I'm using Firefox on Void Linux and I never had an issue with the Cloudflare page. Well, I tell a lie, I had an issue once and could only go on with Chromium, but that only happened until I updated the system and then everything was fine. Your Firefox is up to date, yes?

Yeah, Firefox up to date, latest Ubuntu snap. Firefox on other machines is not a problem (Windows and Linux.)

I've just started Firefox is safe mode, to see if the disabling of extensions helps, and no luck. Still broken. It looks like a generic Cloudflare issue, as I've had the problem with other Cloudflare protected sites.

Very bizarre.
