Good resources
I understand that if I search hard enough I will find what I need obviously I have the intel SDM, and then the various pages on the osdev wik,i but I have one issue with the wiki for one there's quite a bit of out dated pages. Some things just aren't explain well enough or there's some stub pages that are yet to be filled, if anyone has some better docs to read that would be nice.

Re: Good resources
I also just have trouble finding things that explain it how I want it to be explained obviously I won't ever get something like that though I could always ask questions but I really hate to bother people for either a small or dumb question unless if its fine to ask them but I just need to interpret stuff better

Re: Good resources
I doubt you'll bother anyone, but if you're worried about that, you could help us improve the wiki whenever you have questions.

Re: Good resources
Hey,
Daniel mccarthys kernel development from scratch course is what I recommend: https://dragonzap.com/offer/kernel-deve ... king=osdev
You build a fully functioning OS/Kernel from scratch with UEFI support, full use of paging, graphical user interfaces and more. PCI/PCIE, NVME controllers are also included
Hope it helps
Thanks

When you're affiliated with the service you're advertising, you should specify that in your post, even if your username makes it pretty obvious.

Re: Good resources
I’m afraid that I have to be a little wary of any company that advertises £200 courses on a forum. One of your teachers recommends your course? As Mandy Rice-Davis said “well they would, wouldn’t they”.

Re: Good resources
Honestly you make a fair point, so I can elaborate a bit more the part one course has over 16000 students, part two course around 500-700 students so far, the courses are tested and have great reviews, you can search around on Google for Developing a multi-threaded kernel from scratch video course series to see how strong of a following it has, the offer I gave here the 200 £ one gives you full access to part one and part two video course series so you are getting three kernel dev video courses for that price with 69 hours of video. The series took over 2 years to build working daily so the price reflects the effort involved.
Re: Good resources
At this point I am going to lock this topic. The forum rules forbid spamming, you obviously don’t need the advertisement, and there’s a danger that other vendor might join in.
